These shoes happened to be exactly what I was looking for for my vampire hunter halloween costume. They're durable and cute but definitely have some problems...

- The additional faux leather piece goes around your ankle before you put the shoe itself on. IT velcros under the arch. It's kind of a hassle but not a big deal.

- The back edge of the top of the shoe (the shoe, not the additional part) will give you blisters and cut THROUGH your stockings. Make sure to wear longer black wool socks (yes, wool. They have to be that thick) that cover your achilles but low enough to be hidden with the separate piece.

Other than that, cute. -- Not something you'd want to wear all day.
