Hopefully, this will help you in deciding what size you choose because I have an 8.5 in athletic shoes for a very long time. In dress flats, I usually wear a size 8. So, when I tried these on, as soon as they arrived at my doorstep, it was a bit shocking for me when I could hardly slip my foot into the shoe. I now know this is a problem with buying shoes online, if you don't know what size you are for any given brand. I've never worn New Balance before, and it looks like they don't even have a size 9, it jumps from 8.5 to 9.5 so maybe I never will. If they did fit I think I would have really liked them and could have worn them for a long time. -- These are NOT true to size

These shoes fit well and provide plenty of support. It is very light weight and I like the contrast in the warm brown with the energetic orange. It's nice. -- Very comfortable
