I was amazed at how fast I got my shoes. Having purchased New Balance shoes before, I thought these would be as good a pair of shoes I had been used to and these certainly were. What I didn't expect was how good they felt as soon as I put them on. No "break-in" time required. The only downside was my color selection. I will order another pair again but in another color. I ordered tan. -- Great shoes, decently priced and quickly shipped.

These New Balance shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
The 4E width makes all the difference. Other shoes that say they are wide or extra wide do not measure up. They are also well made. The last pair I had lasted quite a few years. -- One comfortable pair of shoes

Fine walking shoe. Mostly all leather especially over the toes where mesh would let in the dirt. Size is true and hopefully the laces never wear out as you will never be able to replace them or come close. -- Fine walking shoes

I'm very pleased with this shoe. I wanted a good walking shoe that wasn't too heavy and looked good. It fit well and is very comfortable. I like the lacing system- the laces stay tied. The shoe is supportive and provides a good grip on various surfaces including dirt trails. I also liked that the toe area is protected by a durable rubber piece. -- great shoe

I bought these NB 645 shoes from Amazon a few months ago, and have used them every day. I walk about 30 miles per week in them at a rapid pace. I wear 11 1/2 D shoes and my feet are pretty easily blistered from moisture or friction. These shoes have been wonderful, not a single problem and they really absorb the impact. Planning to use them later in the summer to walk the C&O canal (185 miles). Really happy with these shoes! -- Most comfortable walking shoes yet
