When I received this hiking boots and tried it own, it didn't fit well. I notice my foot turning when I am walking. I have long lean feet, not quite narrow and despite using a very thick hiking socks, it still didn't help. I end up buying another one (merrell) which worked really well.

I was going to return this shoes, but it looks really good so I gave it to my brother who has the same shoe size as me. It worked really well with him and fit his feet much better. We had a really bad blizzard in past winter with several feet of snow and he used this boots while digging us out and it kept his feet dry. He uses this shoes now all the time. -- Not what I expected

My husband purchsed this boot a few months earlier, so I tried these on at a local store & loved them. But the 1 pair they had in my size had a defect, so I found it on Amazon @ a great price. I was able to wear them right away with no break in time. They are very supportive for my weak ankles, but aren't too stiff or bulky. They are perfect for all the walking I do during the cold, wet months we have had in GA this year. My feet stay warm & dry. They are attractive & easy to clean also. -- Comfortable, supportive waterproof boot

All the superlatives apply regarding my satisfaction with the style, fit, comfort, and appearance. Although not an avid hiker, I had not been able to go out much due to my need for custom orthotic supports which didn't fit many other boots. I have these boots, as well as another pair of Hi-Tecs. Both are very comfortable. I think they make great boots, esp. for the price (I got one pair for half price at Big 5). I have had Vasque boots (Clarion and Sundowner) before but found them too stiff, even once they were broken in. I like the fact that these boots don't hit the back of my ankle. The dark brown color also looks nice. They don't look as bulky as my tan Hi-Tec boots even though they're the same size. I recommend them. -- Great hiking boots!
