After seeing Clarks shoes sold on QVC for years and hearing about their quality and comfort, I finally ordered a pair. I was leaving for a wedding in a few days and needed the perfect pair of comfortable black heels. I ordered the these in the black suede using Amazon Prime, and received them just in time for my trip.

They look beautiful! They have a small amount of shiny black patent on the front rim of the shoe that sets these of perfectly. The 2 straps across the top do not appear to unbutton, but actually stretch from the attached area just a bit. I had no problem at all sliding my foot in, and the straps fit nicely across the top of the foot. I sometimes find shoes that have straps across the top can cause some discomfort to my foot, but not at all with these. I like that the straps do not actually unbutton, because it would become a problem if they unbuttoned on their own while you were wearing them. With the current design, the shoes are able to have a not-too-tight feel to them, but they also don't fall off either. They have to be the most comfortable shoes with heels I have ever put on.

I ordered them in a size 8 and they are a "comfortable" size 8. I would say they feel just in teeny bit bigger then a snug pair of size 8's, but still smaller than a typical pair of size 8 1/2's. I can not wear size 8 1/2's without them falling off, and these fit amazingly, so they definitely fit very close to exact size. What I love about them is since feet tend to swell a little as the day goes on, this tiny extra room the shoe has keeps your feet from feeling cramped at all.

When you have them in hand, you can tell these are a very high quality shoe. There is nothing cheap looking about them. They look like they were made to last 20 years. They are very much worth the full retail price, so if you get them on sale, your getting a steal!

A great shoe to wear with business clothes and dressy outfits. Wear with pants or skirts! The black suede has a retro look and the patent leather trim adds a very sexy punch! True to size- not too wide or narrow. This shoe looks much more exspensive than it is and has that Clarks' comfort! I wear 9-9.5-ordered a 9 that fit-didn't want the heel to be too loose. -- Stylish and comfortable!
