I bought a pair of these in black from a BJ store and loved them so much I decided to get a pair in red, too. If you've never tried them on, they are impressively comfortable. The secret is the platform underneath the ball of your foot. It adjusts the angle so what looks like a 5 inch heel wears like a 2.5 inch heel.
As for the authenticity - mine arrived in a signature hot pink Betsey Johnson box (logo emblazoned on the top), wrapped carefully in signature BJ cheetah-print paper, and still stuffed with original packing material. If these aren't the real thing, I applaud whoever it was that went to the trouble of making it look like it was.

These glitter mules are too awesome for words, but here goes. I'm always exactly a size 7.5 but these only come in wholes sizes. So, I ordered a seven and they fit perfectly. They were priced($99) far lower here by this seller than anywhere else on the web, I researched them thoroughly beforehand. You know that line...'if it seems too good to be true it probably is'. Not so in this case. These are absolutely authentic Betsey glitter heels as far as I can tell. They are well made and sturdy and kind of comfortable actually. I just really love them. They are bright and sparkly, so I plan to wear them with a simple 70's style, black knee-length dress with spaghetti straps this summer and maybe a denim jacket to dress it down. I'm not a club chic and I'm not 20 anymore so these are going to be worn out to dinner, movies, house parties and they are going to get second glances:) -- Awesome.
